Dr. Nicol Sanders-Hemphill
Dr. Nicol Hemphill began her teaching career at John Hopkins Elementary School over twenty years ago. She also attended John Hopkins as a student in all of her elementary years. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Elementary Education from Jackson State University. She also received her doctorate degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University. She is a proud graduate and product of Jackson Public Schools. Dr. Hemphill has a vested interest in John Hopkins and the community it serves.

Erica Frazier
Erica Frazier brings nearly twenty years of experience in education to John Hopkins Elementary School. She holds certifications in all elementary subjects, secondary English Language Arts and Social Studies, and K–12 administration. Guided by the belief that the needs of students always come first, she has built a career centered on supporting both academic and personal growth.
In addition to her classroom expertise, Ms. Frazier has extensive experience in instructional coaching, where she has helped teachers refine their practice and strengthen student outcomes. She is deeply committed to fostering strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and she works to promote a collaborative, thriving school culture at 170 John Hopkins Road.
A native of Meridian, Mississippi, and a proud graduate of Meridian High School, Ms. Frazier has called the metro area home for nearly 25 years. Her journey in education began at Thee Illustrious Jackson State University, where she laid the foundation for her enduring dedication to excellence in education.
